BACKGROUND Introduce your business and what you do there. We’re one of the first companies to come up with a Bitcoin wallet for Android. Our company is 12 years old. I’m responsible for business development, and my formal title is senior operations officer. I initiate partnerships with crypto exchanges, advertisers, and partners that can take us to further innovations. OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE What challenge were you trying to address with Rocket Motion? Bitcoin is generally a marginal currency, and we wanted to bring it to the POS business. We wanted to offer an unusual and inexpensive way of making payments at restaurants, hotels, and other businesses. We wanted ordinary people to look at Bitcoin differently. SOLUTION What was the scope of their involvement? Rocket Motion created some animated explainer videos based on our scripts. They show how our payment solution can work in various contexts. What is the team composition? We worked with Daniil (Co-Founder). How did you come to work with Rocket Motion? We were based in Vienna, Austria, at the time. There’s a large Bitcoin shop there, and one of their members was using it. How much have you invested with them? For the initial project, we paid $15,000. What is the status of this engagement? We started working with Rocket Motion around three years ago. We had some other jobs with them a couple of years later. RESULTS & FEEDBACK What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? We have the most successful Android wallet on the market, but I don’t know how much of this success is attributable to Rocket Motion. How did Rocket Motion perform from a project management standpoint? I’d rate them a 4.5/5 for this. We used Telegram and WhatsApp for communication. What did you find most impressive about them? They were quick to understand what we wanted. Are there any areas they could improve? Rocket Motion followed the current trends in animation, and I’m not sure whether this is the best way to do things. They basically took the fashion and replicated it. It was fine, and it worked, so I’m not sure whether it’s something bad to do either. Do you have any advice for potential customers? I would suggest offering Rocket Motion some style examples for the task.
