The Virtual Engineering Centre (VEC) is a leading digital impact centre established in 2010 by the University of Liverpool, supported by EU funding and in partnership with BAE Systems and National Nuclear Laboratory. We work cross-sector with our clients to address and solve their business challenges, including areas such as digital design and engineering. We support their innovation journey by deploying emerging research and intelligent digital technologies to improve and advance their business capabilities. As part of the University of Liverpool and through key partnerships, we have access to the very latest scientific infrastructure and thought leadership bridging the innovation gap between academic research and new product development within SMEs and large corporations.
