What are our main missions? Connecting : Organisation of networking events and working groups, B2B relations, links with international, national and regional networks. Enhancing : Showcase for its members and their projects, dissemination of good practices among the professionals of the sector. Informing : Technology and legal watch, sector news and online agenda. Guiding: Introduction to training and guiding organisations, and to innovation stakeholders. ecobuild.brussels gives particular importance to the following themes that are considered as essential for the future of sustainable construction in Brussels : Energy efficient retrofitting Circular Economy We particular aim : to promote environmentally friendly materials and the companies that use them. And therefore greatly contribute to the well-being and sustainability of buildings; to highlight the concept of energy saving, particularly taking on board the typical Brussels context. To meet the government's objectives for 2020, increased efforts need to be made to reduce CO2 emissions. That is why the cluster supports all initiatives that contribute towards this drastic reduction, such as : better insulation, rational use of energy, the use of renewable energies, the use of natural or low embodied energy materials, etc. The health and well-being of the occupants, but also of the workers on construction sites and upstream are also taken into account. Who can join? All construction industry actors (companies, freelancers, craftsmen), from the project manager to the operative on the site. Grouped within ecobuild.brussels in 5 categories: architects/designers engineering firms and technical specialists contractors manufacturers or merchants of sustainable materials and products real estate developers ecobuild.brussels also has a network of partners: universities and research centres professional associations training, information and awareness-raising organisation
