Do you charge VAT?keyboard_arrow_down
Only for EU customers: According to new European laws, companies are now required to charge VAT on digital and electronic services according to the country of each customer. This means that starting on 1 January 2015, instead of adding the standard Belgian VAT (21%) to the invoices of European customers for whom we don't have VAT numbers on file, we'll add the local VAT rate in your country. We are still required to charge VAT to ALL of our clients based in Belgium.

What’s a commission fee?keyboard_arrow_down
The commission fee (or Finder’s Fee, Success Fee, etc.) is a common practice used in the Marketing and Advertising industry to remunerate someone that brings new business to an agency. The average Commission Fee practiced in the industry ranges from 5% to 20% (average of 12%), making our rates below the industry standards. The final rate depends on the budget of the client and the current plan of the agency.

How should I invoice the client if I win?keyboard_arrow_down
You invoice the normal way, outside of Sortlist. Sortlist doesn't intermediate in the negotiation and agreement terms between you and your clients, *nor* in the invoices and transactions generated for your clients. This is why in no case you can charge our commission to them in any of the invoices or offers you create.
