Een website laten maken door Zuurstof heeft zo z’n voordelen. We hebben veel ervaring met het bouwen van websites en webshops in de meest gebruikte open source platforms van dit moment: WordPress en Joomla. Beide website CMS-en zijn zeer gebruiksvriendelijk, onafhankelijk en geschikt voor zowel eenvoudige als meer complexe websites.
We kunnen ons goed voorstellen dat een keuze maken voor een geschikte webbouwer, internet- of marketingbureau een lastige exercitie kan zijn. Soms heb je een uitgesproken voorkeur voor een CMS (Content Management System). Dat helpt! Goed om te weten is dat WordPress wereldwijd inmiddels het meest gebruikte CMS-platform en dat is niet voor niks. WordPress is net als Joomla een open source CMS, wat betekent dat je dit platform (gratis) kunt gebruiken (zonder licentie) en dat je bovendien onafhankelijk bent van een leverancier.
Of het nu gaat om een projectwebsite, landingpage, one-pager, webshop, werken-bij website of corporate website. Bij Zuurstof ontwikkelen we uiteenlopende websites voor kleine bedrijven en grotere organisaties. Dit zijn veelal projecten met een korte doorlooptijd. De wensen en eisen op het gebied van en functionaliteiten bepalen of we voor jouw site gebruik kunnen maken van standaard beschikbare vormgeving (templates) en functionaliteiten (plugins). Of dat we een website op maat ontwerpen en er technisch complexer maatwerk nodig is. Vanzelfsprekend beïnvloed dit ook de prijs, hoewel maatwerk niet persé ‘duur’ betekent.
Zoekmachine optimalisatie, ook wel SEO (search engine optimization) genoemd, is een essentiële methode om online klanten te werven. Door je site technisch en inhoudelijk te optimaliseren verschijn je hoger in de zoekresultaten. Hoog in Google staan is belangrijk, want 70% van de Google-gebruikers kijkt niet verder dan de eerste 4 zoekresultaten. Bovendien zijn deze mensen op dit moment op zoek naar jouw producten en diensten. Sta je nu niet in de top 10 bij relevante zoektermen? Dan laat je veel potentiële klanten lopen.
