We’re an award-winning specialist B2B communications agency, boasting more than fifteen years of experience servicing both local and multi-national companies. We’re a team of PR pioneers, marketing strategists, digital and social media specialists and content creators, who put their heads together to find integrated, creative ways to help our clients better their businesses from the inside out. In 2013, Red Ribbon launched Red Ribbon Africa, joined forces with a host of affiliate agencies across Africa, with a view to capitalising on the myriad opportunities the continent now provides. Red Ribbon Communications is a member of the ION Group, a global communications network. History Armed with little more than a laptop, a phone line and a bold business vision, Ronelle Bester formed Red Ribbon Communications in 2003, a few months before her 30th birthday. The idea was simple: to offer her marketing and PR expertise to the emerging Cape Town start-up community. Before long, Red Ribbon had become one of the most sought-after specialist PR firms in South Africa, with a growing client base that included both local start-ups and international power players. A lot might have changed over the years, but we’re still privately owned, and continue to base our existence on three simple tenets: work hard, have fun, and make a difference for clients we genuinely like.
