Pico Digital Marketing was hired as a result of a referral to drive paid conversions to Messari's consumer product, offering market intelligence and research for crypto. Messari, where I serve as the Director of Marketing, chose Pico Digital Marketing for their great culture fit and good value for cost. The scope of work, handled by a team of 2-5 employees, involved the standup of PPC accounts on Google, Bing, X, and LinkedIn, along with monthly execution, maintenance, and reporting on account performance; all communication was primarily through virtual meetings. The project achieved measurable success through the successful standup of channels, significant learnings about the product's value proposition, and a positive ROAS. I found their project management to be excellent, as they always delivered tasks on time, were very proactive in suggesting changes and communicating results, and could be depended on to independently execute without any daily oversight. Most impressive was their thoroughness, understanding of the larger context, and concise communication approach, and I have no areas for improvement to suggest.
