DevOps architects discovering us through free-tier coverage never learned a fully managed paid product existed. Every AI assistant we tested reinforced the same incomplete picture. We needed the managed product to stand on its own in AI-driven research.

Rather than adding content around the managed product's capabilities, they built a distinct authority footprint for it, with its own coverage and presence in developer publications DevOps architects with budget actually trust. The two tiers now live independently in AI search results. Teams evaluating managed solutions find the paid product first, and pipeline quality shifted noticeably within the first quarter.

It was ranking second on Google and had been there for over a year. We had tried flagging it through multiple channels with no result and our sales team was losing deals where prospects referenced it unprompted.

Within three months our branded search results were occupied by coverage that told our story accurately, including a structured company profile,an executive interview, and two industry features that positioned us as the clear first choice in our category. The comparison piece is still there but it now sits on page two where it belongs and has stopped coming up in sales conversations entirely
